About Us
Over the past two decades, the space sector has experienced significant democratization thanks to technological advances and a growing economy, leading to accelerated development in the industry. With the rise of NewSpace and the establishment of the Spanish Space Agency in Seville, the University of Seville launched the “Fly Your Cubesat” program. This initiative by the STCE aims to complement student education through the practical application of their knowledge in a real stratospheric mission.
Our Story
After the program ended in 2023, the FyCUS association was born to promote innovation, research, and education in nanosatellites. Guided by a vision of accessible and sustainable space research, we aim to develop nanosatellites for scientific research, education, and knowledge dissemination.
FyCUS is a non-profit organization composed of University of Seville students, focusing on training and skill development in space technology. We encourage passionate students to engage in all aspects of space technology, from design and manufacturing to operations and data analysis, fostering collaboration within our community and with professional institutions.
United by our passion for space and a desire to advance the sector, we invite those who share our vision to join us. Together, we aspire to achieve significant goals and become a leading association in the national space sector.
